Air Photo/Contour Overlays - We have the ability to combine air photos for almost any part of Montana, Wyoming or Colorado, with our own aerial mapping, topographic surveys, or USGS quadrangle maps. This information can also be combined with a boundary survey or plot of the original GLO/BLM Survey notes for your property, yielding an impressive display, purchase evaluation, or planning tool. Aerial Mapping & Aerial Control - Let us provide aerial mapping, control, or photos for your project. We can provide the survey control that your mapper will need or coordinate the entire project for you. We have several quality aerial mapping firms that we routinely work with, and can provide you with costs for any phase or the whole project!
Agricultural Exemption Surveys - Montana property owners can divide and transfer property to be used only for agricultural purposes without subdivision review. Call us for the restrictions and details on the 'agricultural exemption' from the subdivision process.

ALTA/ACSM Surveys - American Land Title Assocation/American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ALTA/ACSM) surveys usually cover commercial property or high end residential properties. We are very familiar with "ALTA" surveys and would be glad to provide you with an estimate.

Boundary Surveys (GPS & Conventional) - Boundary surveys are the foundation of professional land surveying services. ACI's staff have performed hundreds of boundary surveys from lots in town to multi-section ranch boundaries. Some firm's promote Global Positioning Systems (GPS) as the 'answer' to every surveying "question". Although ACI's staff began using (the predecessor to) GPS in 1981, we utilize whatever technology completes your project the fastest and most economically. This may include both GPS and conventional or robotic total stations on the same project!
Certificates Of Survey (COS’s) - Certificates Of Survey normally show property boundary lines. On file with the county clerk and recorder, they serve as the 'record' of your boundary line information. ACI's staff has prepared hundreds of COS's.
Construction Staking - All roads, water, sewer and storm sewer lines that are constructed need to placed in the right location. Surveyors establish position and grade for these utility lines, parking lots, curb and gutter, drainage ponds, and other utilities and constructed objects. We can construction stake your project!
Easements/Encroachment Surveys - Need a driveway, drainfield, utility line, viewshed, telecommunication, or airspace easement? Disagreement with a neighbor over a fence line? Give us a call!
Elevation Certificates Elevation certificates fix the floor elevation of your house, and are required by lenders before allowing you to drop your flood insurance. ACI's staff has completed many of these and can assist with filing the required forms and regulatory paperwork!
Family Transfers - In Montana, property owners can legally transfer property to their spouse, children, or parents without undergoing full subdivision review. Call us for the restrictions and details on the 'family transfer exemption' from the subdivision process!
Mining Claim Boundary Retracement Surveys - Buying an old mining claim "up in the hills"? Consider a retracement survey to reestablish and mark the claim corners and boundary lines.
